Bad Hair Day

Whilst on a specialist conservation safari, led by the senior research scientist from the Mara Predator Conservation Programme and a former BBC presenter and wildlife photographer, we encountered late in the day this solitary young male lion walking across the plain towards us looking somewhat bedraggled.
